Preface_
Asif Hasan Zeshan is a computational designer and researcher with an academic background in architecture. His work explores the integration of data driven methods in creative learning with a focus on cognitive technologies and synthetic intelligence. His research examines how data-driven frameworks can evaluate creative learning in architecture and related fields, while also exploring how the integration of Artificial Intelligence is reshaping both the learning process and the built environments it influences.
Currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Arizona’s College of Information Science under the supervision of Dr. Xiao Hu, Asif has worked across multiple research initiatives bridging technology, design, and learning. At the EAAR Lab directed by Dr. Hassan Azad at the University of Florida, he contributed to IoT-driven urban acoustic data analysis projects supported by UF Seed Funds and the National Science Foundation (NSF). From 2022 to 2024, he was part of a research team at the Drachman Institute, University of Arizona, developing user-feedback-driven design methodologies to enhance creative learning environments.
An advocate for measurable environmental sustainability, and people empowered urbanism- Asif is recognized as a Regional Leader for PlacemakingX. He founded the non-profit Placemaking Bangladesh and served a Roots 4 Resilience Fellow at the Arizona Data Science Institute in 2023. His interdisciplinary approach positions him at the intersection of architecture, technology, and urban intelligence, shaping the discourse on post-human design paradigms.
